We are implementing targeted measures to reduce energy consumption, water consumption and waste. A particular focus is on reducing food waste and expanding sustainable procurement.

Reducing our ecological footprint is a key component of our sustainability strategy. We are implementing targeted measures to use energy, water and materials efficiently and to reduce emissions. In doing so, we are continuously optimising our operational processes and investing in resource-efficient technologies.
In the area of energy and resources, we focus on improving efficiency and reducing consumption. Regarding water consumption, we ensure its mindful use and optimised cleaning and laundry standards.
A structured waste management system helps us to consistently separate recyclables and reduce waste. We pay particular attention to reducing food waste and to collaborating with local organisations to ensure surplus food is put to good use. In housekeeping, we promote reduced resource consumption through programmes such as ‘Green Choice’ and raise awareness amongst our staff through targeted training.
